Mark E. Rubenstein
Mark Rubenstein is the founder of The Rubenstein Company which, under his leadership for over 35 years, developed into one of the largest full-service real estate development companies in the eastern United States. Now retired, he presently acts as senior adviser to Rubenstein Partners, a continuing company owned by his son. Mr. Rubenstein earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and presently serves as trustee emeritus of Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Medicine. Over the years he has served as a member of several Johns Hopkins University board committees including the executive committee, finance committee, and chairman of building and grounds committee. He also served as vice chairman of the University board of trustees. Mr. Rubenstein is a past chairman of the Curtis board of trustees and has served on the board since 2009. He is also an active member of the board of trustees of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
