Our campus is primarily concentrated within the historic mansion at 1726 Locust Street and the facilities of Lenfest Hall at 1616 Locust Street. Visits must be requested in advance and not all requests will be approved.
Info Sessions
Info sessions are a great way to learn more about what makes Curtis unique and hear directly from staff, faculty, and students. Several of our departments offer info sessions online that generally run one hour.

Virtual Office Hours
Curtis’ Admissions Team will be available to answer your questions about the admissions process during designated virtual office hours. Please see below for our current offerings. You will be required to register to receive a Zoom link but you may join at any time within the hour.
Campus Tour
Campus visits are by appointment only. Tours last approximately one hour, and appointments must be made in advance. If you are interested in visiting our campus in Philadelphia, you can check availability here.
Note that residence floors are not open to the public. Access to teaching studios, practice rooms, and concert halls is subject to availability on that particular date.

Informational Lessons
Informational Lessons with Faculty
Informational lessons with Curtis faculty are a great way to learn more about Curtis and get a feel for the faculty member’s teaching style. Informational lessons with Curtis faculty are available on-campus, in-person.
Lesson availability, date, and time are dependent on the faculty instructor’s availability. Admissions may not be able to accommodate requests that fall outside of the provided availability.
Informational Lessons with Alumni
Prospective students can take one or two lessons with an alum, work with an alum in an ongoing way as a supplement to their primary teacher, or study with an alum as their primary teacher.
Summer Programs
During the summer, Curtis Institute of Music hosts a number of camps and intensives for young musicians interested in both developing their skills and knowledge and learning more about Curtis. Many eventual Curtis students enjoyed their first experience at the school during a summer program.
