Frank J. Mechura

Frank Mechura, a native of Pittsburgh, has served as a Curtis trustee since 2004 and is currently chair of the facilities committee and serves on the human resources and executive committees. Mr. Mechura spent the entirety of his 40-year working career at Crown Holdings, a large global packaging manufacturer headquartered near Philadelphia, eventually becoming responsible for Crown’s operations throughout the Americas. While no longer active as a board member, he has served on the boards of International House and the Russell Byers Charter School and has supported a number of other charitable institutions. Mr. Mechura is a graduate of M.I.T. and Harvard Business School. A lapsed trombonist, his lifelong interests include classical music, wilderness camping and canoeing, fishing, swimming, woodworking, and cooking.
