Thomas Roy-Rochette (Bassoon ʼ22) and incoming piano student Elijah Orlenko have been named to the “30 hot Canadian classical musicians under 30” list for 2023 by CBC Music. This summer marks the Canadian FM radio network’s 10th anniversary of this annual tradition. The National Youth Orchestra of Canada has also named Mr. Roy-Rochette the second-place winner of the 2023 Michael Measures Prize, alongside violinist Tiffany Yeung.
