Christine J. Lee (Cello ’13) Joins Boston Symphony Orchestra

The award-winning Curtis alumna is one of three new additions to the BSO roster

Curtis congratulates Christine J. Lee (Cello ’13), who has been announced as one of three cellists, along with Roric Cunningham and Jonah Ellsworth, joining the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Lee will officially give her first performance on Friday, August 18, at Tanglewood in a BSO concert conducted by music director Andris Nelsons, featuring Jean-Yves Thibaudet as guest pianist.

“I am thrilled to join the Boston Symphony Orchestra and be part of such a dedicated and committed group of musicians,” says Ms. Lee. “The orchestra’s commitment to making music at the highest level is truly invigorating, and I am eager to contribute to this exceptional standard of excellence.”
