Alumnus Teddy Abrams (Conducting ’08), music director of the Louisville Orchestra, discusses his theater work Mammoth with Yo-Yo Ma, returning to his alma mater to conduct the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, visiting backwoods Kentucky towns as part of the LO’s statewide touring program, and the Creators Corps, a project to commission new pieces rooted in Louisville history and culture.
