Broadcast: Curtis on Tour in Nantucket and Falmouth
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Curtis on Tour has cancelled its annual chamber music festival in Nantucket and subsequent New England tour. In place of the live, in-person performances, we are thrilled to present a concert broadcast featuring esteemed Curtis alumni.
The program includes a varied mix of solo and chamber works alongside brief introductions by the festival’s artistic director, David Serkin Ludwig. As a special treat, the program concludes with the world premiere of an arrangement of Bach’s “Erbarme dich, mein Gott” from Saint Matthew Passion.
Tune in to Facebook Live on Sunday, July 12 at 5:30 p.m. EDT to watch the broadcast and connect with the performers in a live chat. This concert will also be broadcast on YouTube and remain available for on-demand viewing until August 11.
