String Quartet, Violin, and Piano
Curtis Institute of Music students perform over 100 free recitals during the semester, held on most Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. Admission requires advance registration and is complimentary.

About the Performers
I-Hao Cheng, from Taoyuan City, Taiwan, a student of Midori, is the Martin and Sarah Taylor Fellow and first entered Curtis in 2016.
Sofia Gilchenok, from Columbia, Conn., a student of Hsin-Yun Huang, is the Tobe Amsterdam Fellow and entered Curtis in 2019.
Nygel Witherspoon, from Minneapolis, Minn., a student of Peter Wiley, is the Richard A. Doran Fellow and entered Curtis in 2019.
Yoonsoo Yeo, from Seoul, a student of Gary Hoffman and Peter Wiley, is the Edna Harkness Fellow and entered Curtis in 2017.
Yiyang Hou, from Shanghai, a student of Benjamin Beilman and Ida Kavafian, is the Herbert R. and Evelyn Axelrod Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.
