Low Brass
The Curtis Institute of Music’s iconic Student Recital Series returns to the stage for a vibrant season of performances. Curtis hosts a variety of chamber, ensemble and graduation recitals this spring. Admission requires advance reservation and is complimentary.
Join our Low Brass studio for an evening of music. Students play solo and ensemble works by a variety of composers from Schumann to Florence Price.
The Edith L. and Robert Prostkoff Memorial Concert Series. The Curtis Institute of Music receives funding from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Robert Conquer, from Toronto, is a student of Nitzan Haroz and Matthew Vaughn, and entered Curtis in 2018.
Cristina Cutts Dougherty, from Albuquerque, N.M. and Pretoria, South Africa, is a student of Craig Knox and Paul Krzywicki, and entered Curtis in 2019.
Diogo Fernandes, from Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal, is a student of Nitzan Haroz and Matthew Vaughn, and entered Curtis in 2019.
Derek Gullett, from Uniontown, Ohio, is a student of Nitzan Haroz and Matthew Vaughn, and entered Curtis in 2019.
