Music of Change
Ensemble 20/21 returns to the stage with this unique and timely multimedia concert experience. In collaboration with The Purple Project for Democracy, Ensemble 20/21 presents a program celebrating music with an emphasis on civic engagement, including a world premiere by composer Alexis C. Lamb and projection designer Camilla Tassi. Their new work, Tell Me What Democracy Looks Like, centers on American democracy and the average citizen’s power to shape it. This concert will also feature music by composers of note with Philadelphia connections including the premiere of George Crumb’s revised version of Kronos-Kryptos, a vast and powerful percussion quintet.
Please note: Performance programs are subject to last-minute changes. See updated program details and run-time below.
Generous support for Ensemble 20/21 is provided by the Daniel W. Dietrich II Foundation.
