Gabriel Nishikawa, bassoon

Gabriel Nishikawa, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, a student of Daniel Matsukawa, is the William Curtis Bok Bassoon Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.   

Maya Anjali Buchanan (’23), from Rapid City, S.D., a student of Ida Kavafian, is the Jill and Sheldon Bonovitz Fellow and first entered Curtis in 2018.   

Jiayin He (’23), from Shanghai, a Nicholas Canellakis, Gary Hoffman, Yumi Kendall, Christine Lee, and Peter Wiley, is the Demeng Foundation Fellow and first entered Curtis in 2018.   

Alexander Heather, from Wells, England, a student of Hal Robinson and Edgar Meyer, is the Anthony B. Creamer III Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.
