Curtis at Woodmere: Maya Buchanan, violin

Curtis is proud to partner with Woodmere Art Museum.

Enjoy an evening with violinist, Maya Anjali Buchanan, who will be performing a variety of sonatas and other compositions featuring the music of Claude Debussy, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Reena Esmail. Reena Esmail’s piece “Darshan” ties in with Buchanan’s Indian heritage, her interest in exploring the music of Western classical composers with ties to the East, and their blending of styles.
