Fuki Wang, flute
After years of study, members of the class of 2022 share their talents and passion through a final graduation recital. Admission requires advance reservation and is complimentary.
Tonight’s program features Fuki Wang as she performs her graduation recital. Fuki opens the recital with two contrasting selections from J.S. Bach’s Sonata in E minor, first the mournful Andante followed by the cheery Allegro. She continues with two pieces for solo flute, and finishes the first half with Jolivet’s invigorating Chant de Linos.
The second half of Fuki’s program features Prokofiev’s flute sonata, his only work written for flute and piano. Fuki concludes her recital with Busoni’s Divertimento.
A livestream of the performance will also be available on Curtis’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
