Enchantment Theatre Company

The Enchantment Theatre Company joins an Curtis ensemble of woodwinds and piano to bring Maurice Ravel’s Mother Goose to life.

Families, actors, and musicians alike will participate in an interactive exploration of Ravel’s music and the stories that inspired him, followed by a full performance of the suite..

This participatory program is based on the Mother Goose Suite by Maurice Ravel, which portrays such beloved fairy tales as Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast. Curtis musicians will introduce audiences to the woodwind instrument family and perform Ravel’s enchanting music. Enchantment Theatre Company actors will use props, magical illusions, and movement to enhance the stories.
