Curtis Institute of Music students perform over 100 free recitals during the school year, held on most Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. Admission requires advance registration and is complimentary.

About the Performers

Simon Bakos, from Mason, Ohio, a student of Anthony McGill, is the Ruth and Eugene Helmer Fellow and entered Curtis in 2020. 

Kārlis Bukovskis, from Alūksne, Latvia, a student of Robert McDonald, is the John J. Medveckis Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022. 

Christopher Correa, from Long Beach, Calif., a student of Katherine Needleman and Philippe Tondre, is the Gephart Family Fellow and entered Curtis in 2020.   

Emmalena Huning, from Perth, Australia, a student of Benjamin Beilman, is the Yvonne Druian Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.   

Kylie Kreucher, from Novi, Mich., a student of Julia Faulkner, is the Florence R. Laden Memorial Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.   

Carson Ling-Efird, from Seattle, a student of Gary Hoffman and Peter Wiley, is a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.   

Himari Yoshimura, from Tokyo, a student of Ida Kavafian, is a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.
