Centennial Weekend
A once-in-a-lifetime celebration.
To celebrate its founding a century ago and to honor the legacy of Mary Louise Curtis Bok, Curtis will conclude its milestone season with Centennial Weekend from May 8–10, 2025, as generations of alumni and supporters are invited to campus to reminisce with one another, interact with Curtis students, attend various concerts and festivities, and commemorate the past, present, and future of Curtis. Mark your calendars now and make plans to join us for this once-in-lifetime celebration.
Curtis alumni, friends, and patrons are invited to experience captivating performances by star alumni J’Nai Bridges (Opera ’12), Amanda Majeski (Opera ’09), Jarrett Ott (Opera ’14), and Karen Slack (Opera ’02), as they illustrate the legacy of vocal studies at Curtis—a history with an outsized influence on the landscape of performances not only in the United States, but across the globe.
The evening begins with a festive opening reception and the performance will be followed by dinner and dessert.
Proceeds from the gala support Curtis’ exceptionally gifted young musicians as they hone their impressive artistic talents. In Curtis’ unique and inclusive environment, they are nurtured by celebrated faculty, supported by a merit-based, tuition-free policy, and inspired by the school’s distinctive learn-by-doing approach. Your presence at the centennial gala ensures these experiences are available to countless generations of students to come.
Tickets start at $250 for alumni.
